Need continuing education credits? Or do you simply want to learn more about technology in the home?
We are excited to announce that design and build professionals may now take advantage of professional development opportunities through Century Stereo. Registered Outreach Instructors, Melinda Foster and Lloyd Willhite are offering multiple educational courses designed to help participants strengthen their working knowledge of home technology systems and earn continuing education credit towards their certifications
These educational sessions were developed by the Custom Electronic Design & Installation Association (CEDIA), a residential electronic systems industry trade organization of which Century Stereo is a longtime member.
The demand for technology-based entertainment, convenience and security solutions continues to grow. To help design and build professional stay abreast of industry trends, CEDIA has created the Registered Outreach Instructor (ROI) program. CEDIA has worked with several residential organizations to create current, relevant content that helps attendees better understand the role technology plays in the modern connected home. Members of the American Institute of Architects, the American Institute of Building Design, the IDCEC-governed Interior Designer associations, the National Association of home Builders, and the National Association of the Remodeling Industry can receive continuing education credit for their participation in these approved courses.
There are several courses available, including Control System Impact on Building Green and Introduction to Electronic Home Entertainment. These courses are designed for architects, home-builders, remodelers, interior designers, building designers and related professionals.
These courses are available free of charge. To request training or to inquire about upcoming Lunch & Learn events in our showroom, please contact Melinda Foster at (408)341-1950 or firstname.lastname@example.org
