Marc Latimer, a member of the Century Stereo family for 20 years,
passed away on Saturday, March 31.
Marc was an entertainer in every sense of the word, he was an excellent musician, a bon vivant, a great host and in general a fun guy to be around. His customers as well as his coworkers loved him. He had a good word for everyone, he was our resident foodie, our personal sommelier, our friend.
Marc had a positive outlook, he loved to laugh and make others laugh with his good humor and his constant jokes and puns. Marc knew music and everyone in the music business. Marc was a phenomenal keyboard player, a diverse musician who could perform as Tom Jones with the Heartbeats and play contemporary jazz in other venues.
Wherever Marc was, Jacquie was nearby, she was his ‘Sweetie’. They were a fun couple and went EVERYWHERE together. Our hearts and warm thoughts go out to her at this time.
Our friend, has gone on to other banquets, other parties, other realms. Marc left this world for points unknown.
A “Celebration of Life” service has been planned for Marc on Sunday, May 20th from 2-6PM at Capers Restaurant in Campbell. The service is open to anyone who would like to attend we just ask that you RSVP to us so we can help his wife Jacquie get an accurate head count. Please RSVP by replying to this post with your name and headcount or by calling the store.
